Trainer’s Profile & Program Advisors

Dr. Manjit Kaur
Dr. Manjit Kaur is Center-Director, Senior Scientist Rapture Biotech, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She is a result-oriented individual with an ambition to serve the society through her research work. Along with her co-guide Dr. Abhishek Mathur, she developed a ready-to-sell bio-organic formulation for increasing agriculture productivity, during her doctorate program. While serving at CSIR Lab, she independently designed research projects on Mosquito repellent paint and Precast Bio concrete. During her tenure at ICAR – NDRI Karnal she extensively worked on stem cells. There she independently designed a research project on Progenitor Stem Cells for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes through mouse model. She is a trained expert in genomics up to the level of gene editing. For a short span, she worked as Senior Scientist at Rapture Biotech, Chandigarh (Mohali) center. She has over 10 years of work experience in government and corporate sectors, and 11 publications in national and international journals including 2 books contributions, 10 participations in national/international conferences awarding her “Young Scientist Award “by Uttarakhand University Dehradun, “Best Presenter Award” by D.A.V. College Bathinda and CSIR Labs.

Dr. Damini Singh
Dr. Damini Singh is a Consultant Scientist at Rapture Biotech and a Biosafety Expert and General Manager at Spectevo Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ghaziabad. With extensive experience in ensuring the safe handling, storage, and disposal of biological materials, she holds a PhD in Biotechnology and certifications from QCI, NABL, and ABSA. Dr. Singh is responsible for implementing biosafety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing laboratory operations to ensure compliance with national and international safety standards. She also leads training programs, manages biosafety equipment, and promotes biosecurity practices. Her career includes significant contributions to prominent projects such as ICMR’s BSL-3 labs and FDA’s Clean Room Lab, highlighting her leadership in biosafety across various sectors.
